Okay so this is totally not birth related, but I capture births and I am a mom who has given birth, to 5 kids and those 5 kids have a grandma who gave birth to my husband and she loves Disneyland and finally after 8 years of marriage took said 5 born kids along with born husband and me, who was also birthed by my own mother to Disneyland! So maybe it is kind of sort of birth related!
Anyways, I have never been and I had no idea what to expect. We were in the park/s for 5 days total and wow what a trip!!!
Things I learned:
1. Bubble wands are awesome for the stroller kids that can't ride much!
2. Keep said bubble wands upright ALWAYS or they stop working.
3. The staff are all super helpful and will replace the batteries!
4. Water is so expensive!! And you drink so much of it. Finding a food stall that has soft drinks is a better option because they will give you ice water for FREE!
5. Mobile orders in the Disneyland app can save you a TON of time waiting in lines!
6. Galaxy's Edge is the bomb and I wish it was closer so we could just hang out there, especially on date nights.
7. Okay here is an insider tip for getting seats for the Fantasmic show...If you show up around 6:30ish find the roped off section in front of the steps leading down to the water. If you stand there and wait they will eventually come rope off behind you and you will be standing right at the front! AND if no one from the reserved section shows up in front of you the kids might be able to sit on the steps!! I think we had the best spot except the reserved spots.
8. Try and watch the shows at the beginning of your trip, we realized the shows were so awesome at the end of the trip and didn't get to watch all the ones we wanted to.
9. Magic Hour is not really worth it..so if you have to pay more for it, Don't! They still close off half the park even during that time and the rides you want to ride are in those parts.
10. Don't lose your phone, but if you do the staff is really helpful at finding it for you. I lost mine for a day and a half :( and accidentally reset it in the process.
I can't think of anything else at the moment. I got video footage but I am working on other projects that come first so I'll add the video when its ready. For now, enjoy the photos.
